Everlight Solar is hiring a Sales Consultant

About the Role

The ideal candidate will build relationships with homeowners, educate them about solar benefits, and close sales using consultative techniques while representing the company's services in the community.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and reach out to potential customers through door-to-door and community-based outreach
  • Conduct in-home or virtual product presentations to explain system benefits and functionality
  • Assess customer energy needs and recommend appropriate solar solutions
  • Guide clients through the sales process from initial contact to contract signing
  • Explain financing options, incentives, and long-term savings clearly and accurately
  • Address objections and provide factual responses to customer concerns
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities
  • Collaborate with installation and design teams to ensure smooth project handoffs
  • Stay current on product specifications, pricing, and regulatory changes
  • Represent the company at local events, home shows, and community gatherings
  • Follow up with leads in a timely and professional manner
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets set by management
  • Ensure compliance with all industry regulations and company policies
  • Use CRM tools to track leads, appointments, and conversion metrics
  • Uphold brand standards during all customer-facing interactions
