About the Role

What You'll Do

Shape and execute a scalable channel strategy focused on Value-Added Resellers in the South Central region. You'll identify and onboard high-potential partners, drive deal registrations, and ensure those opportunities convert into closed-won revenue. Your efforts will directly expand Meter’s footprint by leveraging existing partner networks and cultivating new ones.

Design and manage a comprehensive partner enablement program, equipping VARs with the knowledge and tools to sell effectively. This includes delivering training sessions, technical briefings, and joint customer engagements—both remotely and in person. You'll also represent Meter at industry events, trade shows, and co-hosted meetings to strengthen visibility and generate qualified pipeline.

Collaborate closely with internal Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to align regional channel activities with broader business goals. You’ll forecast revenue contributions from the channel, track key performance metrics, and surface insights that improve execution across the ecosystem.

Requirements

  • Proven success managing and growing relationships with VARs and MSPs, especially in the Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, or Houston markets
  • History of driving measurable results—pipeline growth, deal registrations, and revenue attainment—through indirect channels
  • Experience engaging partners at both operational and executive levels
  • Background as a Mid-Market or Enterprise sales professional with strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Willingness to travel frequently (50% or more) to meet partners and customers in person
  • Based in the South Central U.S., preferably near a major airport for ease of access
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of scaling partner-driven growth

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in technology or internet infrastructure sectors is strongly preferred, particularly in environments where complex solutions are sold through channel partners.
