About the Role

The Channel Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to grow sales through value-added resellers (VARs) in the Rocky Mountain region. This role involves building strong relationships, providing sales support, and driving revenue growth through effective channel management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales through VARs in the Rocky Mountain region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key VAR partners.
  • Provide sales support, including training and marketing materials, to VAR partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure VAR partners have the resources needed to succeed.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective channel management.
  • Identify and pursue new VAR opportunities to expand market reach.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with VAR partners to assess performance and plan for growth.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations and proposals to VAR partners.
  • Coordinate with marketing to develop and execute joint marketing initiatives with VARs.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on sales performance and channel activities.
  • Attend industry events and trade shows to represent the company and build relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all sales activities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and performance.
  • Provide feedback and input on product development and improvements based on market insights.
  • Support the development of sales collateral and marketing materials tailored to VAR needs.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to VAR partners.
  • Develop and implement sales incentives and reward programs for VAR partners.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to manage budgets and forecast sales.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in channel sales.
  • Provide input on the development of sales strategies and plans.
  • Support the development of sales training programs for VAR partners.
