About the Role
This position supports the growth of an immigration law practice by identifying potential clients, guiding them through initial assessments, and facilitating their engagement with legal services. The associate acts as a bridge between the public and attorneys, ensuring clarity, compliance, and continuity throughout the intake process.
Responsibilities
- Identify and contact individuals and businesses seeking immigration services
- Conduct initial consultations to assess client needs and eligibility
- Explain legal processes, documentation requirements, and potential outcomes
- Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and follow-ups
- Support attorneys by preparing intake summaries and case details
- Follow up with prospective clients to encourage case initiation
- Track conversion rates and report on sales performance metrics
- Respond promptly to inbound inquiries via phone and email
- Educate potential clients on visa types, timelines, and application steps
- Coordinate scheduling for attorney consultations
- Stay current on changes in immigration regulations and policies
- Represent the firm at community events and outreach programs
- Build trust through transparent communication and realistic expectations
- Manage a high volume of leads while maintaining attention to detail
- Collaborate with legal staff to ensure accurate client advisement
- Escalate complex cases to supervising attorneys appropriately
- Maintain confidentiality of all client-related information
- Use CRM tools to log calls, emails, and appointment outcomes
- Adapt communication style to diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds
- Support marketing initiatives by providing client feedback and insights
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in legal sales or law firm operations
- Bilingual abilities, especially in Spanish, Hindi, Urdu, or Mandarin
