Wordly.ai is looking for a Sales Account Executive to sell our AI software solutions to clients in Japan. You will manage the full sales cycle via web meetings, in-person meetings, and email, handling a high volume of inbound and outbound contacts. You'll prospect, qualify new business opportunities, close sales, and collaborate closely with our marketing team.
What You'll Do
- Follow up on inbound leads from marketing programs and trade shows.
- Identify potential customers and set sales strategies.
- Respond to RFPs.
- Develop strong and long-term client relationships.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements.
- Gather customer feedback and suggest ways to increase customer engagement.
- Travel to marketing events to assist in trade show booth activities.
- Resolve issues and handle complaints quickly and effectively.
- Demonstrate and communicate the Wordly value proposition.
- Collaborate with Wordly leadership to identify potential marketing-assisted sales campaigns.
- Use sales tools like Hubspot to maintain a current and accurate pipeline of deals.
What We're Looking For
- Located in Japan.
- At least 3 years of proven work experience qualifying and closing deals.
- Experience selling technology solutions.
- Experience with CRM software and MS Office or GSuite (particularly MS Excel/Google Sheets).
- Ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Excellent collaborator with skills to engage across multiple teams and geographies.
- Professional, executive presence internally and externally.
- Experience working with complex technologies.
Nice to Have
- Proficient in reading and speaking Japanese and English.
- Experience selling AV Equipment/Services or Language Services.
- Experience selling B2B SaaS tech products.
