Lamar Advertising Company is looking for a Sales Account Executive to bring innovative outdoor advertising campaigns to life for brands in Wichita, KS, and surrounding areas. This role is the vital connection between Lamar and the communities we serve, focused on meeting and exceeding sales objectives in an assigned territory.
What You'll Do
- Meet and exceed sales targets while monitoring personal sales data and reports.
- Target businesses in your assigned area and visit established Lamar clients as well as competitor's clients within specified time frames.
- Exhibit a working knowledge of local and national competition.
- Cluster accounts to work them efficiently and identify potential growth areas to open new accounts.
- Use Lamar computer tools to locate prospects, follow up on leads, and prepare proposals, presentations, and research.
- Develop and utilize presentation skills to present to clients regularly.
- Develop new product knowledge and selling skills.
- Actively participate in sales meetings, regional meetings, seminars, and trade shows.
- Perform administrative duties: maintain daily, weekly, and monthly sales plans; follow up on client production orders and problem-solve issues; maintain organized records of clients and sales activity.
What We're Looking For
- Current and Valid Driver’s License.
- Comfort making cold calls over the phone and in-person.
- Ability to make oral presentations and clearly articulate policies and procedures.
