Role Overview
We are looking for a qualified Safety Engineer to support transmission line and substation projects involving systems above 220kV in Saudi Arabia. This position demands adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards within high-voltage electrical environments. Candidates must be prepared to work on-site at remote project locations and be available to start within 30 to 60 days.
Key Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Civil or Electrical, from an accredited institution
- Possess a valid NEBOSH certification – this is mandatory
- Have between 0 and 5 years of hands-on experience in EHS roles within power, transmission, or infrastructure construction settings
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Show understanding of transmission line construction practices and safety protocols
- Be willing to work and reside at remote field sites as required
Preferred Experience
Candidates with prior involvement in overhead transmission line projects—particularly at voltages of 220kV, 400kV, or 765kV—will be given priority. Experience in Saudi Arabia or similar environments is advantageous.
Work Location
This is an on-site role based at transmission project locations across Saudi Arabia. The position requires regular field presence with limited flexibility for remote work.
