3M is hiring an RTR End-to-End Specialist to lead Record-to-Report (RTR) activities for our global operations. In this role, you will be the key liaison between the Global Service Center (GSC) RTR processes and country stakeholders, ensuring the timely completion and accuracy of financial statements for various 3M subsidiaries.
What You'll Do
- Manage stakeholders as the initial point of contact for local finance, audit, and other teams.
- Review financial statements, balance sheets, and P&L statements during month-end closing for your assigned countries or region.
- Coordinate with local finance teams on additional entries required to close the books.
- Lead Pre-Close and Post-Close Calls between GSC and local Finance to analyze and explain financial results.
- Lead Balance Sheet Review Calls with countries, working closely with reconcilers, process specialists, and local finance on open items.
- Follow through on open reconciliation items based on the Balance Sheet Health Check for your supported countries or region.
- Lead RTR improvement projects specific to a country, such as enhancing the Month-End Closing (MEC) process.
- Support statutory audits for assigned countries by coordinating across the GSC to provide data to external auditors.
- Conduct training sessions on financial analysis and related topics.
- Monitor and update the status of the MEC Tracker.
- May act as a Blackline Administrator for the APAC region.
- May be assigned as a SOX control performer or reviewer.
What We're Looking For
- An accounting degree.
- Fluent professional proficiency in English.
Nice to Have
- 5 years of relevant working experience in finance and accounting.
- Working experience in a shared service center environment.
- A CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
- Working knowledge of SAP.
- Multicultural skills and experience.
