U-Haul is seeking a Roadside Mobile Advantage Agent to join our team in a part-time, remote capacity. You will be the critical link for customers needing immediate roadside assistance, managing online requests and coordinating help with a focus on safety and support.
What You'll Do
- Handle back-to-back online roadside assistance requests submitted by customers needing immediate help.
- Make initial outbound calls to customers and roadside assistance service providers.
- Occasionally take inbound calls to support customers.
- Follow established procedures to prioritize customer safety and meet quality metrics.
- Handle all files with calm urgency, professionalism, and care.
What We're Looking For
- Ability to express sympathy, empathy, and compassion.
- Critical thinker with the ability to adapt.
- Intermediate keyboarding and computer skills.
- Active and attentive listener with excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to type while talking (40 WPM or higher is a plus).
- Ability to formulate sentences through written text and navigate multiple computer programs simultaneously.
- Clear speaking voice.
- General knowledge of U.S. and Canada geography and how to map a location.
- Willingness to incorporate feedback to constantly improve performance.
- Dependable team player with a positive attitude, can-do confidence, and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Aptitude for working in a critical thinking atmosphere and enjoying a self-paced, educational work environment.
- Enjoy speaking with and helping people.
- Comfortable with eLearning, remote leadership management, and navigating multiple computer programs at once.
