Die Autobahn GmbH des Bundes is hiring a Road Maintainer to ensure traffic safety and maintain our critical national infrastructure. You will be a key player in keeping our roadways operational, safe, and clean through all seasons.
What You'll Do
- Implement traffic safety and securing measures.
- Execute structural maintenance, repairs, and cleaning of traffic areas, drainage systems, and ancillary facilities.
- Perform green and shrubbery maintenance.
- Carry out year-round on-call duty.
- Conduct maintenance activities on premises and manage warehouse operations.
- Deploy for winter service, including snow clearing and gritting.
What We're Looking For
- A successfully completed apprenticeship as a road maintainer or road builder.
- A valid CE class driver's license and willingness to drive vehicles over 3.5 tons.
- Manual dexterity and good technical understanding.
- Willingness to work shifts.
- Physical resilience and suitability for year-round outdoor work.
Nice to Have
- IT skills.
- Operating authorization for brush cutters and chainsaws.
- Operating authorization for wheel loaders, aerial work platforms, and cranes.
