Corewell Health is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join a 22-bed Progressive Non-ICU unit at Blodgett Hospital. In this role, you will provide specialized care for medically complex patients, including those with cardiac arrhythmias and who require bipap. You will be responsible for delivering nursing care as professionally described by the ANA and legally by the State of Michigan, utilizing the nursing process within our collaborative, team-oriented culture.
What You'll Do
- Deliver nursing care responsibly and accountably as described by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and the State of Michigan.
- Demonstrate competency through the critical thinking model of the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Uphold the standards of professional performance, including ethical and culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice, quality of practice, professional evaluation, and resource utilization.
- Strive consistently to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
What We're Looking For
- Associates in Nursing Required
- MI Registered Nurse (RN) license Required
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Required within 90 days of hire
Nice to Have
- Bachelors in Nursing Required within 5 years
