Allegheny Health Network is hiring an RN Ortho/Trauma/Spine Weekend position at Allegheny General Hospital. You will be responsible and accountable for a designated patient population, providing care based on the nursing process from admission through discharge. What You'll Do
- Demonstrate clinical assessment and care planning skills
- Provide safe and effective care for the age population served according to regulatory requirements
- Professionally direct and manage the patient care delivery activities of team members
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team for the plan of care from admission through discharge
- Assess learning needs of patient and family and provide education based on age, culture, and willingness to learn
What We're Looking For
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- CPR – American Heart Association certification
- Current State of PA RN licensure OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
- One (1) year general nursing experience
Nice to Have
- One (1) year of experience on a specific unit
Team & Environment
You will work on a 57-bed telemetry unit specializing in Ortho/Trauma and neurosurgical spine surgeries.
Work Mode
This is an onsite position located at Allegheny General Hospital.
