About the Role

Lockwood, part of Cushman & Wakefield, is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to join the CVS Health team. In this role, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to help ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment focused on delivering exceptional patient care. You will support patient care programs and pharmacy operations.

  • Work on patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, and workflow management.

What We're Looking For

  • Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
  • 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe.
  • Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
  • Physical capability to be mobile and upright for extended periods, lift items up to 20 lbs occasionally, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity, reaching, stooping, and visual acuity.
  • Complete any additional tasks as directed by supervisor or manager.

Nice to Have

  • Immunization eligibility.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.

You will work as part of the pharmacy team under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

  • Compensation: $18.50 - $42.00 per hour.

This role is fully onsite.
