Ryder Transportation Solutions, LLC is hiring an Accounting Associate II to manage all aspects of the company's fuel card program. This fully remote role serves as the key liaison between the fleet card provider and the business, focusing on administration, reconciliation, and fraud prevention.
What You'll Do
- Administer new fuel card requests and maintain accurate records.
- Monitor transactions and investigate unusual activity to prevent fraud.
- Reconcile fuel expenses and ensure they are properly coded.
- Perform essential duties of the month-end close process accurately and on time.
- Serve as the primary contact for and manage ServiceNow requests related to fuel cards, resolving tickets within established service level agreements.
- Partner with IT to resolve unit correction issues in the vehicle database.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Communications on fuel card training for the sales group.
- Assist with policy updates, user support materials, and serve as Banking Backup.
- Complete special projects and miscellaneous assignments as required.
What We're Looking For
- H.S. diploma/GED.
- Four (4) years or more of experience in accounting or finance with an H.S. diploma.
- Thorough knowledge of tasks and responsibilities.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Proficiency in Excel (Vlookup, Pivot tables, Macros).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of integrity and commitment to confidentiality.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree.
- Three (3) years or more of work experience with an Associate's degree.
- One (1) year or more of related experience with a Bachelor's degree.
- Experience with fleet or fuel card programs.

- Compensation range: $58,500.00 - $61,000.00.
