Allegheny Health Network is hiring an RN Nursing Instructor for Citizens School of Nursing. You will provide comprehensive instruction and evaluation for nursing students, helping them develop the clinical skills and theoretical knowledge required for their careers. You’ll also play a key role in faculty functions and program quality.
What You'll Do
- Teach classroom theory for assigned courses, including developing course outlines, syllabi, teaching materials, and examinations.
- Provide clinical instruction and supervision to help students develop skills and apply classroom theory to practice.
- Evaluate student performance in both classroom and clinical settings according to school policy.
- Contribute to the Faculty Organization and its standing committees as assigned.
- Participate in annual systematic evaluation activities to maintain program quality and accreditation.
What We're Looking For
- Master's Degree in Nursing required or must be obtained within 5 years of hire.
- Current State of PA RN licensure OR current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
- CPR certification – American Heart Association.
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate.
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
Nice to Have
- Two years teaching experience in a school of nursing.
