UAMS is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) - Infusion to join our collaborative health care organization focused on improving patient care. In this role, you will provide direct patient care, coordinate care for patients, triage patients, and work closely with clinic providers, fellows, and staff. You’ll also work with patient referral sources, facilitate appointments, coordinate transitions of care, and provide patient education on complex conditions.
What You'll Do
- Collect and document assessment data.
- Develop a Plan of Care (POC) per standard.
- Implement POC including medical order and interdisciplinary approach.
- Evaluate patient progress toward attainment of desired outcomes.
- Provide effective patient/family education and discharge planning.
- Administer medication per standard and provide drug information to patients/families.
- Act as a resource and support for others.
- Deliver patient care using the principles of the defined nursing modality.
- Delegate care based on UAMS standards, legal and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to a positive work environment conducive to clinical education and serve as a resource for student nurses and staff.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Associate’s degree in Nursing, Diploma RN, or Master’s degree in Nursing.
- Graduate of an accredited RN nursing program.
- Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nursing experience.
- Valid Registered Nursing License.
- Basic computer skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong work ethics and accountability.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- One or more years of Oncology Nursing experience.
- Current BLS and National Nursing Certification.
