Allegheny Health Network is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department in Canonsburg. This role provides direct nursing care in accordance with established protocols and utilizes the nursing process to coordinate patient care plans.
What You'll Do
- Utilize the nursing process in providing and coordinating the plan of patient care for the age-appropriate population.
- Initiate, monitor, and revise the interdisciplinary plan of care based on assessment findings and physician orders.
- Complete patient documentation comprehensively in line with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
- Provide ongoing and appropriate teaching to patients and families to guide them across the continuum of care.
- Support the development of students, new staff, and colleagues, potentially serving as a preceptor.
What We're Looking For
- Current State of Pennsylvania RN licensure OR current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate.
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
