Ameriprise Financial is looking for a Corporate Finance Intern to join for a 10-week summer program. This internship provides real-life experience where you'll work on a broad range of business initiatives and gain hands-on exposure within a collaborative finance environment.
What You'll Do
- Complete federal and state tax returns for various legal entities.
- Gain knowledge about the general ledger, tax accounting, internal controls, and data reporting.
- Learn the steps to reach the bottom line and analyze relationships between separate line items.
- Build decision support-based analytics for business partners.
- Build cost benefit analysis, budgeting, and forecasting models.
- Provide the financial metrics for project management.
- Assist with balance sheet management, due diligence, and process re-engineering.
What We're Looking For
- Current Junior at a 4-year university pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- A graduation date of December 2026 or May/June 2027.

- A high degree of self-motivation with strong integrity and ethics.
- Proven organization skills and ability to manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work and communicate collaboratively and constructively with others.
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite.
