Washington University in St. Louis is hiring an RN Clinical Nurse Coordinator for its Endocrinology and Melanoma service. In this role, you will coordinate patient care throughout the continuum and serve as a clinical resource in this specialty area.

What You'll Do

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation; complete health histories and physical examinations, conveying findings to physicians.
  • Coordinate patient care, order diagnostic tests, convey findings to physicians, attend inpatient rounds, coordinate appointments, and assist with referrals.
  • Assist physicians and provide support with examinations, procedures, and other processes related to direct patient care.
  • Perform a variety of nursing administrative duties, including compliance with safety regulations, infection control standards, and quality assurance.
  • Act as a liaison and team leader by facilitating communication and coordinating care between patients, families, and health team members.

What We're Looking For

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Two years of nursing experience.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Missouri and/or Illinois, depending on location, in accordance with the Compact Act.
  • Basic Life Support Certification or obtains certification within one month of employment.

  • Compensation Range: $60,800.00 - $105,700.00 Annually
