ThedaCare is hiring a RN Clinical Nurse (Ambulatory) to provide patient-centered, specialized, and evidence-based nursing care. In this role, you'll be a proactive partner in health, contributing to compassionate, safe care and positive patient outcomes in an interprofessional environment.
What You’ll Do
- Utilize the nursing process and evidence-based practice to assess patient needs and develop collaborative plans of care.
- Plan for patient care needs with the interprofessional team to deliver the highest quality clinical outcomes.
- Demonstrate clinical expertise and perform all age-appropriate, developmentally sensitive, and culturally specific RN functions.
- Identify ways to improve the patient experience, streamline processes, lower costs, and promote quality.
- Contribute to a professional environment that encourages mentoring, engagement, and development.
- Provide consultation and maintain positive relationships with physicians and team members to improve care.
- Demonstrate, anticipate, and proactively manage risk to prevent crises.
- Perform skillfully in life-threatening emergencies and crisis situations.
What We’re Looking For
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Current Wisconsin RN Licensure
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending) and lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to perform patient care procedures
- Compliance with department-specific competencies

This position offers a hybrid remote schedule. You must be located near the primary work location: Encircle Health in Appleton, Wisconsin.
