Corewell Health is hiring a RN Cardiac Short Stay to join our team. This registered nurse utilizes the nursing process to provide professional care, incorporating patient-family centered principles to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge. You'll provide quality patient care under the direction of the Nurse Leader according to Corewell Health policies and procedures.
What You'll Do
- Utilize the framework of the nursing process to provide professional nursing care.
- Incorporate patient-family centered care principles to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge.
- Partner with and utilize patient/family input and goals in planning the plan of care.
- Develop teaching strategies for patient/family and document education appropriately in the health record.
What We're Looking For
- Associates in Nursing, with a Bachelors in Nursing required within 5 years.
- Graduates from a non-accredited school of nursing must have at least one year of acute care experience or at least two years of experience in a licensed health care role and must have successfully passed the NCLEX licensure examination.
- MI Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days.
- National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification within 90 days.
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 2 years.
