SOSi is hiring a Risk and Compliance Analyst

About the Role

This position is responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks related to regulatory compliance and corporate policies. The analyst will work cross-functionally to ensure controls are effective and aligned with industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze regulatory changes and assess impact on organizational policies
  • Conduct regular compliance audits across departments
  • Develop and maintain risk assessment documentation
  • Support the implementation of compliance controls
  • Monitor adherence to internal policies and external regulations
  • Prepare reports on compliance status for management review
  • Identify potential compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions
  • Assist in responding to regulatory inquiries or audits
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and standards
  • Collaborate with legal and operations teams on compliance initiatives
  • Track key risk indicators and report on trends
  • Participate in policy development and updates
  • Facilitate compliance training for staff as needed
  • Evaluate third-party compliance through vendor assessments
  • Document compliance processes and control frameworks
  • Escalate critical compliance issues to supervisors
  • Support incident investigation and root cause analysis
  • Ensure data integrity in compliance tracking systems
  • Review contracts for regulatory alignment
  • Maintain compliance calendars and tracking schedules
  • Assist in updating risk registers
  • Contribute to internal control testing
  • Promote a culture of compliance awareness
  • Stay current with emerging regulatory trends
  • Provide input on compliance metrics for performance reporting
