Alstom is hiring a Right Side Capital Management professional to lead fundraising efforts. You'll be a relationship builder with a strong sales and venture capital background, responsible for developing new LP relationships, raising capital across funds, and creating a superior experience for limited partners.
What You'll Do
- Work closely with and report to the Managing Director in charge of fundraising, marketing, and investor relations.
- Develop new potential limited partner relationships.
- Raise capital across our funds.
- Bring creative and innovative ideas to the fundraising process and LP experience.
- Maintain and enhance existing LP relationships.
- Manage the full fundraising cycle: mapping prospects, sourcing and nurturing relationships, leading outreach, and coordinating diligence through to close.
- Prepare and customize fundraising materials, including presentations, data room content, DDQs, track record, and portfolio analyses.
- Represent RSCM at LP meetings, conferences, and industry events as a credible, front-line fundraiser.
- Travel, primarily domestic, as necessary.
What We're Looking For
- 5 - 10+ years of experience raising capital from institutional investors, family offices, and HNW investors for venture funds.
- A quantifiable track record of converting prospects into limited partners.
- A deep knowledge and understanding of the VC and startup ecosystem, including how startup accelerators work.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must live within 30 miles of the Bay Area.
Team & Environment
You will join a team of twelve, which is anticipated to grow by several more in the next couple of years. You will report directly to one of the three founders and Managing Directors, specifically the Managing Director in charge of fundraising, marketing, and investor relations.

- Compensation range: $175,000 - $250,000
