Big Brothers Big Sisters of America is seeking a Salesforce Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to join our Information Technology department. Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, you will analyze business requirements and lead Salesforce initiatives to support the growth of our national network and local agencies. Your work will directly impact our mission by optimizing systems that empower youth mentorship.
What You'll Do
- Perform Salesforce administration, configuration, data migration, integration, and user training tasks.
- Provide ongoing support to stakeholders on Salesforce functionality and best practices.
- Design and implement Salesforce solutions, reports, and dashboards, leveraging external tools when appropriate.
- Elicit, review, and analyze business requirements directly from stakeholders.
- Convert requirements into workable user stories and produce key documentation like process flows and functional designs.
- Lead Salesforce initiatives, managing project timelines and resources.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, identify areas of risk, and collaborate on solutions.
- Work with Technical Leads to ensure business requirements are accurately translated.
- Demonstrate a commitment to JEDI (justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion) principles in all work.
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment using project management tools.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combined work experience.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator.
- 1-2 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- 3+ years of overall experience with the Salesforce platform.
- Advanced understanding of Salesforce capabilities, features, and best practices.
- Proficiency in Salesforce configuration, including custom objects, fields, flows, and validation rules.
- Experience with end-to-end Salesforce CRM implementations and integrations.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and use project management tools.
- Responsible use and adherence to organizational IT policies on acceptable AI use.
Nice to Have
- Salesforce Certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator or Advanced Administrator.
- Salesforce Certifications such as Salesforce Certified Business Analyst or Marketing Cloud Email Specialist.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for continued personal and professional development.
