About the Role

F1525 Franklin Distributors is hiring an RIA Director to lead proactive business development and client servicing for our Registered Investment Advisor and Bank Trust channel. You will represent our complete investment platform, cultivate strategic relationships, and drive sales growth across a defined territory within the Private Wealth Division.

What You'll Do

  • Cultivate strong personal and professional relationships with key individuals at targeted RIA and Bank Trust firms.
  • Use your investment knowledge to influence client investment decisions and sell sophisticated investment solutions.
  • Research external market trends and leverage internal analysts to identify macroeconomic shifts and sales opportunities.
  • Profile clients’ business models to identify gaps and position Franklin Templeton solutions effectively.
  • Proactively address potential investment concerns and engage clients in dialogue about their business strategies.
  • Share successes and key learnings across the organization to maximize overall market share.
  • Manage your travel budget and expenses, and maintain all client meeting notes in the CRM system.
  • Use internal and external databases to identify and screen potential new prospects.

What We're Looking For

  • Knowledge of the financial industry, its businesses, and its products.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 8-12+ years of related financial sales experience.
  • Proven success selling directly to RIAs, Bank Trusts, or Private Banks.
  • Active Series 7 and 63 licenses.
  • Must reside in a strategic location within the territory: Arizona, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, Kansas, or Missouri.

Nice to Have

  • CFA designation or an MBA is desirable.

This role sits within the Registered Investment Advisor and Bank Trust team, part of the broader Private Wealth Division.

  • Base salary of $125,000.00 plus a discretionary bonus.
