Deliver advanced rheumatology care as part of an established team committed to clinical excellence and medical education. This full-time position supports a newly accredited ACGME Rheumatology Fellowship Program launching in 2026, offering a unique blend of patient care, teaching, and leadership opportunities.
Role Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive, individualized care to patients across multiple campuses in Delaware and Maryland, including Newark and Wilmington, DE, and Elkton, MD
- Conduct in-person and remote patient visits with 45-minute slots for new consultations and 30-minute follow-ups
- See 12–14 patients per day using evidence-based practices and on-site musculoskeletal ultrasound (MSK US) technology
- Supervise and mentor fellows, residents, and medical students within an academic training environment
- Participate in hospital call coverage approximately every four to five weeks
- Contribute to the growth and success of a new fellowship program with core faculty designation
Qualifications
- Board eligibility or certification in Rheumatology
- Eligibility for medical licensure in Delaware and Maryland
- Ability to meet institutional credentialing standards
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary ranges from $246,946 to $355,614 annually, with additional earnings through productivity and value-based incentives. Ancillary compensation is available based on hours, call coverage, and operational contributions.
