Khan Academy is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Revenue Operations Senior Analyst to join our Finance Team. You will be responsible for overseeing the sales to payment process for our customers and ensuring the accuracy of incoming payments and accounts receivable from our district customers and donors.
What You'll Do
- Oversee the sales to payment process for our district and partnership customers.
- Coordinate with the External Relations Team to create and modify invoices when necessary, ensuring effective and standardized billing for customers.
- Manage and improve effective collection processes by communicating directly with customers regarding any aspect of the billing process.
- Collect incoming cash data from various sources including bank accounts, payment processors, and donation portals and record the data into our Accounting system.
- Oversee data alignment process between CRM system (Salesforce) and Accounting System (Intacct) and work closely with External Relations to resolve any discrepancies.
- Resolve issues or inquiries from the External Relations Team regarding billing and payment questions.
- Monitor and resolve any issues from our payment processors.
- Responsible for month-end close activities for incoming cash and accounts receivable by ensuring they are aligned with bank statements and the CRM system.
- Collaborate with other team members to create and update process documentation.
- Assist with financial report preparation regarding incoming cash and receivables.
- Provide the revenue related financial audit reports in the PBC list.
- As part of a small team, provide backup and support to team members as necessary.
- Contribute to other projects as needed.
What We're Looking For
- More than 5 years of experience in managing nonprofit revenue data.
- A four year degree with more than five years of non-profit operational and revenue experience.
- Working knowledge of Excel functions and an ability to process large data sets in Excel.
- More than three years of working experience in CRM and/or financials systems, such as Salesforce and data entry.
- More than three years of working experience in overseeing the activities of multiple payment processors.
- A roll-up-your-sleeves mindset as part of a small and mighty Finance Team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- High level of ethics, integrity, transparency, and trustworthiness.
- Strong capability to work remotely and commute to our Mountain View office once a week.

Work Mode
This is a hybrid role requiring 1 day/week onsite in Mountain View, CA. It is open to remote candidates in the Continental US, Hawaii, and Canada.
