Requirements
- Associate's degree
- Experience with Epic applications, such as Epic Care, Resolute, Cadence, Prelude, ADT, Hospital and Clinic Coding, and Health Information Management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- At least one of the following credentials: Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Coding Specialist-Physician (CCS-P), Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Professional Biller (CPB), or Certified Medical Reimbursement Specialist (CMRS).
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree
- Five years’ experience in coding and/or billing in lieu of education
- Experience with Epic implementation or migration conversions (e.g., Cerner to Epic)
