As a Presales Consultant/ Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for presenting product offerings and solutions in the most compelling manner to prospects and customers, instilling confidence in our technological capabilities and expertise while systematically addressing all technical concerns throughout the sales cycle. This role demands a strong commitment to leveraging both sales acumen and technical proficiency to capture business requirements, develop strategic sales approaches, configure solutions, and deliver impactful demonstrations that directly address customer needs and provide tangible business value. Responsibilities - Build, maintain, and present core product demonstrations - Translate customer requirements into developmental language - Comprehensively understand customer needs and position our product as the optimal solution - Collaborate cross-functionally to qualify and close new business with absolute integrity - Actively participate in product, sales, and procedural training to maintain professional effectiveness - Craft compelling responses to RFPs/RFIs while mastering our product portfolio - Facilitate seamless communication between external partners and internal stakeholders Qualifications - BS in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience - Solid understanding of discrete manufacturing processes - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills - Outstanding presentation capabilities - Willingness to travel - Ability to establish strong rapport with prospects and customers - Skill in navigating competitive and potentially complex sales environments - Comprehensive understanding of mechanical engineering and manufacturing principles - Proficiency in PLM and CPQ applications and web technologies - Knowledge of interfaces and software architecture - Familiarity with common business applications - Basic understanding of programming languages Preferred Qualifications - Experience with Product Lifecycle Management frameworks - Expertise in manufacturing business applications - Proficiency in CAD and related technologies - Understanding of Business Processes Additional Information All candidate information will be handled confidentially per EEO guidelines.
