You will play a key role in maintaining and growing long-term customer relationships by leading retention efforts across multiple touchpoints. Your focus will be on understanding customer needs, resolving concerns, and guiding clients through contract renewals and service enhancements to improve satisfaction and extend engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with existing customers through phone and email to address concerns, resolve issues, and support retention goals
- Identify opportunities to expand account value by recommending relevant services and product upgrades
- Negotiate pricing plans and renewal terms that align with customer needs and business objectives
- Log detailed interactions and maintain accurate records in the CRM, including follow-ups, account notes, and customer preferences
- Act as a trusted point of contact during critical moments, offering solutions such as service adjustments, pricing reviews, or escalation paths
- Stay current with product updates and industry trends in payment technology to provide informed guidance
- Collaborate across teams to ensure seamless transitions and consistent customer experiences
Qualifications and Skills
You bring at least one year of experience in sales, customer success, or retention roles, with a track record of problem-solving and independent decision-making. You work effectively with minimal daily oversight and adapt quickly to new assignments. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and CRM platforms is essential, along with accurate data entry and call logging practices.
Success in this role requires active listening, empathy, and persuasive communication to uncover customer motivations and recommend appropriate solutions. You’re comfortable managing multiple priorities and delivering results in a structured yet flexible environment.
