Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to build rapport and offer suitable financial solutions.
- Perform non-managerial opening and closing procedures.
- Maintain a clean, well-stocked sales floor and merchandise displays.
- Conduct sales and loan transactions following established guidelines and regulations.
- Manage cash and negotiable items according to established policies and regulations.
- Answer phone calls according to company standards.
- Explain the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and managers, showing respect and using appropriate tools.
- Collaborate with all employees to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Complete assigned training successfully.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to perform tasks for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
- Ability to handle firearms and obtain certification.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Strong desire to work with customers and be team-oriented.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in basic math calculations.
- Flexibility to work a retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Computer literacy and ability to operate POS systems and common office machines.
Nice to Have
- Experience in cash handling.
- Willingness to work in multiple locations as needed.
