Responsibilities
- Welcomes customers warmly and builds rapport to better understand their needs and recommend suitable financial services
- Completes opening and closing procedures that do not involve management oversight
- Maintains a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor with properly arranged merchandise displays
- Conducts sales and pawn transactions following established policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines
- Manages cash and negotiable instruments in compliance with company protocols and legal requirements
- Answers incoming phone calls according to company service standards
- Clearly explains the legal terms and conditions of pawn and purchase transactions to customers
- Communicates professionally with team members and supervisors using respectful and effective methods
- Collaborates with colleagues to deliver a positive and lasting customer experience
- Successfully completes all assigned training programs
- Performs additional related duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
- Able to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, stooping, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting for extended durations as permitted by law
- Willingness and ability to handle firearms and obtain firearms certification
- Minimum age requirement is 18 years old
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Demonstrates strong motivation to serve customers, work with people, and contribute as a team member
- Skilled at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment
- Proficient in performing basic arithmetic calculations
- Flexible availability to work varying retail hours, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs
- Comfortable using computers, POS systems, and standard office equipment

- Prior experience handling cash is preferred
