Responsibilities
- Welcomes customers warmly and builds trust to better understand their needs and suggest suitable financial services.
- Completes opening and closing procedures that do not involve management duties.
- Maintains a clean, organized, and fully stocked sales area with attractively displayed merchandise.
- Conducts sales and pawn transactions following company policies, industry practices, and legal requirements.
- Manages cash and negotiable instruments in strict compliance with established guidelines and regulations.
- Responds to incoming phone calls according to company protocols.
- Clearly explains the legal terms and conditions of pawn and purchase transactions to customers.
- Communicates professionally and respectfully with team members and supervisors using effective interpersonal skills.
- Collaborates with colleagues to deliver a welcoming and lasting customer experience.
- Successfully finishes all required training assignments.
- Performs additional related tasks as directed by management.
Requirements
- Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
- Able to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting for extended durations, in compliance with applicable laws.
- Willingness and ability to handle firearms and complete firearms certification.
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Skilled at managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced retail setting.
- Proficient in performing basic arithmetic calculations.
- Flexible availability to work varying retail hours, including weekends and holidays, based on business demands.
- Comfortable using computers, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and standard office equipment.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience handling cash is a plus.
- Ability to work at different locations as needed by the business.
