Join Puig's team in Hamburg as a Retail Excellence & Operation Executive. You will work cross-functionally to actively shape Retail Excellence with insights into strategy, data, market trends, and direct collaboration with key stakeholders. You will be the central point of contact for the field team and a key interface between field, trade marketing, and key account management at our internationally active family company.
What You'll Do
- Work closely with the Retail Director DE/AT to develop and implement strategies to ensure Retail Excellence for all Prestige, Niche, and Skincare brands at key account customers in Germany and Austria.
- Ensure the implementation of customer-specific annual agreements by the field team and initiate measures in case of deviations.
- Create well-founded retail recommendations and derive customer-specific measures to optimize sales and KPIs.
- Act as the key user DE/AT for the SAP-based retail reporting tool for recording, preparing, and analyzing all retail KPIs.
- Work closely with headquarters in Barcelona to optimize and further develop the retail reporting system.
- Prepare, analyze, and interpret retail and sell-out data in Excel reports and Power BI dashboards.
- Develop retail performance analyses and present current customer topics for sales conferences and key account annual meetings.
- Be the central contact person for the field team and a key interface between field, trade marketing, and key account management.
- Regularly accompany the field team to provide on-site support and optimize processes between internal and external teams.
- Independently manage customer and distribution lists.
- Independently conduct market and competitive analyses to identify opportunities, trends, and relevant developments in the retail environment.
What We're Looking For
- First experience in retail, sales, or key account management, ideally in the beauty or FMCG sector.
- Strong communication skills, organizational talent, and a high degree of proactivity.
- Enjoyment of taking on responsible tasks and helping to shape various projects.
- Ability to handle different tasks flexibly and confidently, work with high reliability, and organize and prioritize yourself.
- Very good analytical skills and a hands-on mentality.
- Enjoyment of cross-functional collaboration and occasional travel.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications (especially Excel and PowerPoint), SAP, and Power BI.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English.
