Paired is looking for a highly skilled Ecommerce Video Editor who specializes in creating persuasive direct-response video content. You will be responsible for crafting high-converting VSLs, dynamic Talking Head ads, and polished UGC-style creatives.
What You'll Do
- Create persuasive direct-response video content.
- Craft high-converting Video Sales Letters (VSLs), dynamic Talking Head ads, and polished UGC-style creatives.
- Structure hooks and refine narrative flow for VSL production.
- Integrate AI voiceovers naturally into edits.
- Produce Talking Head–style ads with pacing, captioning, and retention-focused editing.
- Understand UGC formats, social-first editing, and direct-response strategy.
- Research content, competitor examples, and creative angles.
- Follow platform-specific guidelines (e.g., Meta deadzones, safe zones, text placement, compliance rules).
- Follow SOPs while improving processes and creative quality.
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience in VSL production, from structuring hooks to refining narrative flow.
- Proficiency with AI voiceovers and integrating them naturally into edits.
- Skilled in Talking Head–style ads, including pacing, captioning, and retention-focused editing.
- Deep understanding of UGC formats, social-first editing, and direct-response strategy.
- Ability to research content, competitor examples, and creative angles.
- Knowledge of platform-specific guidelines (e.g., Meta deadzones, safe zones, text placement, compliance rules).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Comfortable following SOPs while improving processes and creative quality.
Nice to Have
- Familiar with ClickUp or similar project management tools.
