Responsibilities

- Conduct pre- and post-installation safety and performance inspections
- Verify that all work meets program specifications and safety codes
- Interact directly with homeowners to explain procedures and benefits
- Document completed work using digital tools and forms
- Troubleshoot equipment performance issues during site visits
- Follow utility program guidelines for product selection and placement
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local energy standards
- Maintain accurate records of materials used and services provided
- Coordinate schedules with dispatch and customer availability
- Respond to customer questions about energy efficiency measures
- Report defects or damaged materials to supervisors promptly
- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Adapt installation methods based on home structure and conditions
- Support quality assurance audits with documentation and access
- Handle hazardous materials according to environmental regulations
- Communicate issues that affect project timelines or safety
- Participate in ongoing safety and technical training sessions
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at each job site
- Return unused materials to storage or transport vehicles
- Follow protocols for working in occupied homes
