AECOM is hiring a Resident Engineer - CDOT

AECOM’s Illinois Construction Management / Construction Engineering and Inspection (CM/CEI) group is seeking a highly motivated Resident Engineer to support transportation construction projects within the Chicago area. Based in Chicago, this role presents a meaningful opportunity to deliver high‑impact infrastructure while serving as a key contributor to the local leadership team. The Resident Engineer will provide technical leadership and oversight for construction activities, mentor and develop staff, and ensure successful project delivery through proactive client engagement and disciplined management of budget, schedule, safety, and quality requirements. In this role, you will lead and manage a multidisciplinary consultant team delivering roadway and bridge construction projects in close coordination with CDOT & contractors.
