Responsibilities
- Operate vehicles for transportation of personnel to and from field locations within and beyond the institute premises
- Oversee and guide junior staff and students from Polytechnic and College of Agriculture institutions participating in the Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES)
- Support the design and setup of experiments in laboratories, screenhouses, and field plots, including data gathering
- Contribute to trial coordination and collection of accurate experimental data
- Manage screenhouse trials and carry out plant crossing procedures
- Undertake additional work-related tasks as directed by the supervisor
