About the Role
The Research Manager will oversee the design and implementation of research projects related to energy and environmental economics, manage research staff, coordinate data collection and analysis, and contribute to policy-relevant publications and reports.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of empirical research studies in energy and environmental economics
- Supervise research analysts and coordinate team workflows
- Design data collection protocols and ensure data quality
- Manage large-scale datasets and perform statistical analysis
- Collaborate with faculty and external partners on research design
- Prepare research findings for academic and policy audiences
- Contribute to grant proposals and funding applications
- Ensure compliance with research ethics and institutional standards
- Oversee project timelines and deliverables
- Develop and maintain documentation for research processes
- Coordinate fieldwork and data acquisition efforts
- Support the publication of peer-reviewed articles and policy briefs
- Organize research meetings and workshops
- Manage research budgets and expenditures
- Identify opportunities for methodological improvements
- Engage with stakeholders in government and non-profits
- Translate research insights into actionable recommendations
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant literature
- Train team members on analytical tools and protocols
- Ensure reproducibility and transparency in research outputs
