Mass General Brigham is seeking a hands-on Research Engineer to join our research and development lab. You will support the design, development, and daily operations for prototype medical device products, ensuring a functional and organized workspace. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic prototyping environment with both mechanical and electrical systems.
What You'll Do
- Support the design, development, and day-to-day operations of prototype medical device products.
- Keep critical prototype systems operational.
- Support experimental testing.
- Contribute to the design and fabrication of custom fixtures and components.
- Consume technical information and communicate key results and outcomes in technical reports for non-technical audiences.
- Maintain an organized and well-functioning research lab space.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study is required.
Nice to Have
- Experience in device engineering in a hospital, industry, or academic setting: 1-2 years preferred.
- Experience in medical engineering: 0-1 year preferred.
