About the Role

The Research Analyst will assist in conducting empirical research, managing datasets, preparing reports, and contributing to scholarly publications focused on telecommunications and regulatory policy.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and organize data from public and proprietary sources
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis on telecommunications data
  • Support the development of research methodologies
  • Maintain accurate documentation of data sources and processes
  • Assist in writing research reports and policy briefs
  • Prepare visualizations and tables for presentations
  • Collaborate with faculty and research staff on project goals
  • Conduct literature reviews and background research
  • Verify data integrity and consistency across datasets
  • Use statistical software for data analysis
  • Respond to requests for research support in a timely manner
  • Attend team meetings and contribute to project planning
  • Manage timelines for research deliverables
  • Ensure compliance with data use agreements
  • Support grant-related reporting requirements
  • Identify trends in regulatory and industry developments
  • Assist in preparing manuscripts for publication
  • Participate in discussions on research design
  • Troubleshoot data access and formatting issues
  • Maintain organized digital research archives
  • Summarize findings for non-technical audiences
  • Stay current with developments in telecommunications policy
  • Coordinate with external partners when necessary
  • Contribute to interdisciplinary research initiatives
  • Support reproducibility of research results
