About the Role
The Research Analyst will assist in conducting empirical research, managing datasets, preparing reports, and contributing to scholarly publications focused on telecommunications and regulatory policy.
Responsibilities
- Collect and organize data from public and proprietary sources
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis on telecommunications data
- Support the development of research methodologies
- Maintain accurate documentation of data sources and processes
- Assist in writing research reports and policy briefs
- Prepare visualizations and tables for presentations

- Verify data integrity and consistency across datasets
- Use statistical software for data analysis
- Respond to requests for research support in a timely manner
- Attend team meetings and contribute to project planning
- Manage timelines for research deliverables
- Ensure compliance with data use agreements
- Support grant-related reporting requirements
- Identify trends in regulatory and industry developments
- Assist in preparing manuscripts for publication
- Participate in discussions on research design
- Troubleshoot data access and formatting issues
- Maintain organized digital research archives
- Summarize findings for non-technical audiences
- Stay current with developments in telecommunications policy
- Coordinate with external partners when necessary
- Contribute to interdisciplinary research initiatives
- Support reproducibility of research results
