Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Requirements Writer and Business Analyst to join our team in Washington, DC. In this role, you will work directly with business and IT stakeholders to define, clarify, and document requirements for system development, process improvements, and technology enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead stakeholder sessions to collect, interpret, and validate business and user needs.
- Produce clear and comprehensive documentation, including requirements specifications, functional designs, use cases, and user stories.
- Map and assess existing business processes using modeling tools such as Visio to identify areas for optimization.
- Act as a bridge between business units, project managers, and technical teams to ensure consistent understanding and execution of requirements.
- Collaborate on solution design and prototyping, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and securing formal approvals.
- Support testing efforts by contributing to test planning, developing test cases, and participating in User Acceptance Testing and defect resolution.
- Manage requirement changes through structured processes, evaluating impacts on scope, timeline, and budget.
- Develop and maintain user guides, training resources, and support documentation as required.
Technical Environment
Proficiency with diagramming and process modeling tools, particularly Microsoft Visio, is essential for this role.
Work Environment
This is an onsite position located in Washington, DC. The selected candidate must be available to work on location.
Compensation and Benefits
