terralayr is offering a Renewable Engineering Intern (m/f/d) position in Berlin. You will support the project delivery team in building and connecting large-scale stand-alone BESS projects, gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic environment focused on our mission of a world powered by 100% renewable energy.
What You'll Do
- Support the project delivery team in ensuring the smooth progression of various BESS projects from building permit to commercial operation.
- Assist in quality assurance activities, including site visits across Germany.
- Help keep the project management tool updated and implement new functionalities in alignment with stakeholders.
- Take ownership of diverse, cross-functional projects outside existing team scopes, building them from the ground up.
- Provide administrative support to the team with a focus on documentation management.
What We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a comparable subject from a top-tier university or business school.
- Looking for an internship, ideally for 6 to 9 months.
- First work experience in demanding, fast-paced environments.
- Team player with a hands-on mentality, excellent organisational, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Proactive, self-starter mindset.
- Full business proficiency in German (minimum C1) and English.
- Driver's license valid in Germany.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in energy markets, in the development and operation of renewable energy assets, or in the project management of construction projects.
