Candid Health is hiring an FP&A Lead to drive our financial planning and analysis function. You will build scalable financial processes, provide critical insights, and partner with leadership to support strategic decisions and fuel our growth.
What You'll Do
- Drive Candid Health’s Financial Planning and Analysis function, developing and implementing scalable models for financial planning, budgeting, and analysis.
- Act as a trusted partner to teams and leadership by providing data-driven finance insights that inform business strategy and operational approaches.
- Support the executive team with financial analysis for strategic initiatives, M&A due diligence, and capital allocation decisions.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics, providing regular performance commentary and identifying trends.
- Enhance financial reporting capabilities, including dashboard development and automation to improve efficiency and data accessibility.
- Ensure a rigorous approach to financial reporting and compliance is maintained, including tax preparation.
- Assist in preparing financial materials for future fundraising rounds, including investor decks, data room documents, and projections.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and modeling to support strategic projects, evaluate new business opportunities, and assess financial risks.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, or management consulting.
- At least 2+ years in a startup environment (ideally Series B+).
- Extreme attention to detail and a track record of producing deliverables of exceptional quality and accuracy.
- Experience working in environments with access to sensitive data and maintaining high trust and discretion.
- Proven experience building and maintaining complex financial models from scratch (e.g., 3-statement models, SaaS metrics models).
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Exceptional proficiency in accounting and finance tools (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Brex, Rippling, Bill.com, etc.) with a willingness to adapt to new systems.
- Detailed understanding of GAAP accounting and strong technical accounting skills.
- Proven track record of executing month-end close, financial reporting, audits, and other related tax and compliance activities.
- Outcome-oriented and thrives in dynamic startup environments.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate with technical teams, executives, and business partners.

Benefits & Compensation
- Salary: $160,000 - $210,000 USD
