Deel is hiring a Risk Payroll Analyst | US

Responsibilities

  • Manage Workers’ Compensation claims under the PEO model, ensuring prompt filing, follow-up, and resolution.
  • Act as the main contact for claims inquiries from employees and clients, offering guidance on procedures, claim status, and dispute handling.
  • Maintain compliance with local, state, and international labor regulations while keeping claims records accurate and current.
  • Coordinate with insurance providers, brokers, and legal advisors to oversee claim investigations, return-to-work plans, light-duty arrangements, approvals, mediations, and appeals.
  • Document claim details and generate periodic reports on claim activity, trends, and outcomes to identify opportunities for process optimization.
  • Configure client and employee data with Workers’ Compensation carrier information in PrismHR, including resolving payroll discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with payroll, benefits, and tax departments to ensure consistent and accurate data flow across the PEO platform.
  • Evaluate and enhance claims administration workflows by utilizing platform tools and integrating with external systems as needed.
