About the Role
The therapist will deliver outpatient psychotherapy to individuals via telehealth, focusing on diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing care in coordination with psychiatrists and support staff.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations via video
- Deliver individual therapy sessions using evidence-based practices
- Collaborate with psychiatrists on patient treatment plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as needed
- Respond to patient messages within defined timeframes
- Participate in team case reviews and clinical discussions
- Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and standards
- Engage in ongoing quality improvement initiatives
- Support patient engagement and retention in care
- Coordinate with external providers when necessary
- Adhere to confidentiality and HIPAA requirements
- Complete documentation promptly after each encounter
- Attend required training and professional development
- Follow clinical workflows and operational guidelines
- Address patient crises within established protocols
- Provide feedback to improve clinical processes
- Work within a multidisciplinary care model
- Uphold patient-centered care principles
- Respond to peer and supervisor input
Nice to Have
- Experience with CBT or DBT modalities
- Background in treating anxiety or mood disorders
- Prior telehealth experience
