Talkiatry is seeking independently licensed therapists to join their virtual mental health practice as W-2 employees. This fully remote role offers structured outpatient therapy with minimal administrative burden, focusing on evidence-based care for lower to moderate acuity patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide 100% remote, outpatient therapy
- Manage lower to moderate acuity populations (e.g. anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, mood disorders, OCD, others)
- Conduct standard session lengths (60-minute intakes and follow-ups)
- Maintain a consistent outpatient caseload with defined, transparent goals
- Avoid inpatient, IOP/PHP, or crisis-call responsibilities
- Collaborate within an in-house referral network to and from psychiatrists
- Rely on full operational support including scheduling, billing, intake coordination, credentialing, and licensing
Requirements
- Independently licensed therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC or equivalent)
- Active, unrestricted license (multi-state licensing support available)
- Two or more independent and active state licenses (except for CA, NY and MA)
- Comfort managing a consistent outpatient caseload
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and independent decision-making
- Comfort practicing in a fast-paced but sustainable outpatient environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience from outpatient, community mental health, hospital, IOP, or other structured clinical settings
- Experience with structured, skills-based modalities (e.g. CBT, ACT, MI, DBT-informed care)

Compensation
$70,000 with ability to earn up to $20,000 in incentives (Therapists with a CA license in hand are eligible for base salary of $90K+ monthly productivity incentive). Tenure-based increases after 2 years
