Tencent is hiring a (Remote) Regional Sales Representative to fuel growth in the Northeast and Mid-West United States. You will pursue BSS/OSS Accounting and Web-Based solution opportunities in the rural telecom market, identifying customer needs and presenting compelling solutions.
What You'll Do
- Pursue BSS/OSS Accounting and Web-Based solution opportunities in the rural telecom market (ILEC, CLEC, Broadband, WISPs, municipal, cooperative, investor-owned companies).
- Identify customer needs, demonstrate software benefits, and present solutions to prospective customers.
- Represent the company with honesty and integrity and build strong relationships to generate new leads and business.
- Present enterprise software solution to generate, nurture, and close new opportunities.
- Initiate & nurture prospects via telephone & in person to connect with 75% of assigned prospects to generate sales opportunities.
- Track personalized outreach activities weekly and maintain meticulous records of interactions in the CRM.
- Build a robust funnel of new name accounts and provide regular updates & forecasting to Sales Leadership.
- Participate in national and regional tradeshows with meticulous advance preparation and action plans.
- Study and master product portfolio and value proposition, monitor market & competitor activities to coordinate marketing efforts.
- Engage in high-level presentations of the company offering.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of outside sales experience
- 5+ years working in the telecom industry
- Growth mindset & capability of building meaningful relationships
- Self-starter with a hunter attitude
- Work effectively within a collaborative and cohesive, team-based environment
- Proven track record of exceeding sales goals
- Willingness to travel 50% +/- with overnight stays several times per month
