Brenntag North America, Inc. is seeking a Senior Analyst, Accounts Payable and Travel & Expense to manage complex daily processing and drive continuous improvement. This role is responsible for ensuring data quality, preparing analytic reports, and collaborating with teams to support month-end closing activities and project execution.
What You'll Do
- Perform complex daily processing activities within agreed timelines.
- Identify repetitive issues or risks, propose improvement opportunities, and support project execution.
- Monitor data quality and ensure transactional data accuracy, including peer reviews.
- Prepare analytic reports and accounting schedules, review for irregularities, and develop corrective action plans.
- Respond to queries to resolve transaction handling issues and explain procedures per SOP.
- Support internal and external audits and process development.
- Participate in User Acceptance Tests (UAT) and support enhancement projects for continuous process improvement.
- Process Travel & Expense receipts and payment of claims.
- Actively monitor the status of pending invoices and Travel & Expense claims.
- Cooperate with cross-functional teams within the SSC for monthly closing activities.
- Support team members to ensure a high level of service is provided to stakeholders.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement for process optimization and internal control.
What We're Looking For
- Degree in a relevant field (Commerce, Finance, Accounting).
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.

- Industry or shared services experience.
