Remote Psychiatrist (MD/DO) – Idaho
Role Overview
Provide outpatient psychiatric care entirely through telehealth, serving patients from adolescence through later life. This position is designed for board-certified or board-eligible psychiatrists seeking a low administrative, fully remote practice environment focused on lower to moderate acuity conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, mood disorders, OCD, and PTSD.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver 100% remote psychiatric evaluations and follow-up care
- Conduct 60-minute initial assessments and 30-minute maintenance sessions
- Treat patients across age groups, with child and adolescent care limited to those board-certified in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
- Focus exclusively on outpatient care—no inpatient, crisis, or intensive programs
- Work closely with an integrated network of therapists for coordinated care
- Exercise full control over scheduling, session format, and patient demographics
Qualifications
- MD or DO with board certification or eligibility in psychiatry
- Valid, unrestricted U.S. medical license (multi-state support available)
- Commitment to outpatient telepsychiatry
- Ability to adapt to a simplified clinical technology system
- Strong diagnostic reasoning, communication skills, and collaborative approach
- Eligible for full-time or part-time W-2 employment
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive total compensation with an on-target range of $300,000–$350,000+ annually, combining base pay and a monthly productivity incentive (guaranteed during the first six months). Additional benefits include:
